Hunt Engine & Equipment Company began in the early 1950’s with a presence in Harvey, Lousiana & Houston, Texas. Hunt Engine began by bringing together personnel with extensive experience in servicing EMD engines, generators, & controls. After Hunt Engine, Incorporated was chartered in Harvey in 1979, we acquired Hunt Company in Houston in 1985; with their experience in engineered filtration & cooling products for electric drilling motors, Hunt expanded into the field of electric motor solutions.

After successfully serving the EMD & electric motor industries from Harvey, LA & Houston, TX for over two decades, Hunt Engine, Inc. sold its EMD servicing business in 2005 to focus on developing electric motor solutions for the drilling industry. Almost two decades later, Hunt Engine’s principle focus is on engineered filtration & cooling products.
