For over 40 years, Hunt Engine has been designing & fabricating Air Outlet Duct Assemblies (AODA) for use in a variety of environments. Our AODA’s collect exhausted air from an electric motor & directs it as required by the system. We have a variety of differentt duct configurations & our AODA assemblies carry ratings from IP23 to IP56.

IP44 SOUND ATTENUATED HOOD
INCREASE WEATHER RESISTANCE & REDUCE SOUND RADIATING FROM THE EXHAUST
Our AODA IP44 sound attenuated hood is a component to be utilized when there is a vertical discharge AODA fitted to an AC or DC motor & no further ductwork or additional components to complete the motor exhaust. Adding Hunt Engine’s sound attenuated hood to the system increase weather resistance and helps reduce the sound radiating from the exhaust.
DC MOTOR SPARK ARRESTOR ATTACHMENT
A DIRECTIONAL DUCT CAPABLE OF COLLECTING ANY SPARKS FROM COMMUNTATOR BRUSHES
For environments with explosive gases, our spark arrestor is a directional duct capable of collecting any sparks from aommuntator brushes & cooling them before they can come in contact with any incendiary environments that it’s connected to. Hunt Engine’s DC motor spark arrestor has been designed to attach to any system & can be adjusted to fit smaller spaces, duct ar to other components, & can feed back into a closed loop cooling system.
